Faculty Search

We are excited to inform you of the search for two Family Medicine faculty positions at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join our Department of Family Medicine at The University of Alabama. Our Family Medicine Residency Program is now celebrating its 40^th anniversary. With over 400 graduates, we now represent 1 in 7 practicing family physicians in the state that were trained here, 50% of which are practicing in rural areas.

The successful candidate will be BC/BE in Family Medicine. Faculty are responsible for teaching medical students and residents in clinical training, engaging in scholarly activity, providing direct patient care, and administrative tasks typical for a university faculty appointment. Obstetrics training is a plus.
