Welcome to the Department of Surgery
It is our pleasure to welcome you to the Department of Surgery. We hope that you will find your experience with us rewarding, interesting, and happy. During your rotation here, you will work and study with members of the Department of Surgery. For some of you, this will represent your only formal association with surgery, so we hope to make this a very informative period for you. We hope you will profit from your experience here.
We have four locations where surgery is done. DCH Regional Medical Center, Outpatient (DCH), Northport-DCH and Health South Surgical Center.
You will often first or second assist in surgery and you will be "one-on-one" with your preceptor/s.
We welcome you to visit our department anytime.
