Dr. Mercedes Morales-Aleman, associate professor in the CCHS Department of Community Medicine and Population Health, was accepted into The University of Alabama Emerging Leaders Program: Foundations for Academic Leadership.
The yearlong program includes four quarterly, two-hour sessions that bring together faculty with demonstrated leadership potential and provides opportunities to strengthen their leadership skills, expand their professional networks and learn from experienced University faculty and administrators. Department chairs nominate faculty for the program based on their leadership ability, insight and initiative.
