Ty Krehbiel, MD — Hospitalist

Dr. Ty Krehbiel received a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from The University of Alabama in 2003. He received his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham in 2007. He completed residency training in Family Medicine in 2010 at The University of Alabama Tuscaloosa Family Medicine Residency Program, serving as a chief resident. He completed the University Hospitalist Fellowship program in 2011 at the UA College of Community Health Sciences, which operates University Hospitalist Group. He also completed eight weeks of missionary medicine in Lilongwe, Malawi, Africa. Krehbiel is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has 13 years of experience. He has held the title of adjunct assistant professor at the College of Community Health Sciences since joining University Hospitalist Group in 2011.
