Susan Guin, MSN, CRNP — Associate Professor

Susan Guin, MSN, CRNP, is an associate professor in the Department of Community Medicine and Population Health and associate director of the Rural Scholars Programs in the Department of Family, Internal, and Rural Medicine. In those roles, she assists with curriculum planning and program development and evaluation. She also is director of the Alabama AgroMedicine Program and coordinates activities and curriculum through the Alabama Cooperative Extension Coordinators for Rural Scholars Programs students. Guin earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from The University of Alabama Capstone College of Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing Degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Guin has extensive experience as a registered nurse in emergency rooms and critical care units.
