Ross Grimes, PhD — Executive Director

Ross Grimes, PhD, Executive Director, graduated from The University of Alabama in 2012 and is a licensed clinical psychologist. Dr. Grimes worked in multiple Brewer-Porch programs from 2006 to 2012 while in graduate school, focusing primarily on autism and residential treatment. In addition, he completed his dissertation on the prediction and understanding of restraint and seclusion in residential treatment. After serving an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and the Clinical Director of the Department of Mental Health’s Adolescent Commitment Unit at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, he returned to Brewer-Porch in 2013 as the Clinical Director.
