The Family Medicine Obstetrics Division is comprised of dedicated family medicine physician faculty with specialized training in comprehensive maternity and obstetrics care. Our faculty work closely with medical students, residents and fellows to provide education and training in full-spectrum maternity care, including prenatal, delivery and postnatal care, and in performing procedures like Cesarean sections. Family Medicine Obstetrics offers an alternative to OB-GYN care and can be crucial in rural areas to address shortages of obstetrical care and to provide comprehensive health care throughout a woman’s pregnancy and delivery.
