Melissa Smith, MD, originally from Essex, Ontario, received an Honours Specialization Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. She earned her medical degree from Saba University in the Netherlands Antilles. Smith has a special interest in emergency medicine and after residency plans to practice outpatient family medicine and emergency medicine.

Amrit Sidhu, MD

Amrit Sidhu, MD, originally from Abbotsford, British Columbia, earned a bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences from The University of British Columbia. He received his medical degree from Saba University in the Netherlands Antilles. He has a special interest in emergency medicine and inpatient medicine. After residency, Sidhu plans to practice outpatient family medicine in a suburban area.

Nick Ruth, MD

Nick Ruth, MD, originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, received his bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He earned a medical degree from the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in St. Kitts, West Indies. He has a special interest in pulmonology and gastroenterology.

Nicole Roberts, MD

Nicole Roberts, MD, originally from Jacksonville, Florida, earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, and a Master of Public Health from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She received her medical degree from St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies. She has a special interest in women’s health and rural, full-spectrum medicine. After residency she plans to practice family medicine in West Georgia.

Stephanie Kinsley, DO

Stephanie Kinsley, DO, originally from The Woodlands, Texas, received her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. She earned her medical degree from Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas. She has a special interest in sports medicine and after residency plans to complete a sports medicine fellowship and open a primary care clinic.

Emily Keeton, MD

Emily Keeton, MD, originally from Dundas, Ontario, earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology from McMaster University. She received her medical degree from Saba University in the Netherlands Antilles. She has a special interest in surgery and women’s health.

Fiona Hu, MD

Fiona Hu, MD, originally from Brampton, Ontario, received an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from the University of Toronto in Ontario. She earned her medical degree from Saba University in the Netherlands Antilles. She has a special interest in obstetrics and women’s health. After residency, she plans to practice outpatient family medicine in a suburban community with a focus on women’s health.

Andrea Haynes, MD

Andrea Haynes, MD, originally from Brandon, Mississippi, earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Tougaloo College in Tougaloo, Mississippi. She received her medical degree from Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. She has a special interest in population health and community medicine, including working with underserved African American and minority populations, reducing health inequities, managing diabetes, and improving health literacy education for patients. After residency, Haynes plans to practice full spectrum family medicine at a Federally Qualified Health Center in the South.

Vanessa Hamby, MD

Vanessa Hamby, MD, originally from Waterford, Ontario, received an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Health from the University of Ottawa. She earned her medical degree from American University of the Caribbean in Sint Maarten. Her areas of interest include child and adolescent health, minority populations, and global health. After residency, Hamby plans to practice rural family medicine in an underserved area.

Josh Hamby, MD

Josh Hamby, MD, originally from Wartburg, Tennessee, earned a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Biology Health Sciences from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, Tennessee. He received his medical degree from American University of the Caribbean in Sint Maarten. His areas of interest include urgent care, emergency medicine, and international medicine. After residency, Hamby plans to focus on emergency care and global health.
