Previously, she managed an independent pharmacy, Woodstock Drug, in Woodstock, Ala., for 15 years. Parsons earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Montevallo in Montevallo, Ala., and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Samford University McWhorter School of Pharmacy in Birmingham, Ala. The College of Community Health Sciences operates the SHCP.
