Rural Community Health Masters

The Rural Community Health Masters Degree prepares students to be community health leaders in rural Alabama as health care providers. The program teaches principles of rural public health as a basis for community health leadership, characteristics of rural health concerns and approaches to biomedical science study through biochemistry and other science courses, while providing avenues for students to maintain close rural community ties and identities and to form a supportive peer group.
