Flu Shot

The College of Community Health Sciences leads The University of Alabama’s annual campuswide effort to vaccinate students, faculty and staff against the flu. The flu shots are free to students, faculty and staff and their spouses, and UA retirees. Students can visit the Student Health Center and Pharmacy for their free flu shots. UA employees and their spouses, and UA retirees, can receive their free flu shots at the Faculty-Staff Clinic at University Medical Center. Vaccinations are also available to dependents of UA employees. Children of employees with UA health insurance can receive flu vaccinations at UMC, and children of employees with non-UA health insurance can also receive flu shots at UMC if their insurance has approved nurse practitioner coverage.
