She shared insights about the vital role family medicine obstetricians play in providing care in underserved communities. Dr. John Wheat, professor in the Department of Family, Internal, and Rural Medicine with CCHS, was selected as a fellow for the UA Honors College’s 2025 Honors Capstone Design Fellowship. This year’s group of fellows represent six UA colleges, and each fellow received a $5,000 stipend to develop a course for senior Honors College students.
