Thomas Lindsey, MD, is a Sports Medicine Fellow at The University of Alabama College of Community Health Sciences. Lindsey, who is from Montgomery, Ala., received a bachelor’s degree in health sciences from Furman University in Greenville, S.C., and a master’s degree in adult education from Troy University in Troy, Ala. He received his osteopathic medicine degree from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine in Dothan. He completed his residency at The University of Alabama Tuscaloosa Family Medicine Residency Program. He has a special interest in sports medicine. After fellowship training, Lindsey plans to practice family and sports medicine.
