Tiffani Thomas, MD — Assistant Professor

Dr. Tiffani Thomas is assistant professor of family, internal, and rural medicine at the College of Community Health Sciences. She also cares for patients at University Medical Center, which the College operates. Thomas earned a bachelor’s degree in microbiology from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina. She received her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and completed her residency training at The University of Alabama Tuscaloosa Family Medicine Residency Program, which is operated by the College. She has special interests in rural and global health and has visited four countries while participating in mission trips. Thomas has a special interest in serving small rural communities in Alabama.
