Il Gyu Cho, MD — Assistant Professor

Dr. Il Gyu Cho is clinical assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at the College of Community Health Sciences. He primarily cares for patients at University Medical Center’s Betty Shirley Clinic, which is operated by the College, and also spends time teaching the College’s family medicine residents and medical students. Cho earned bachelor’s degrees in biomedical sciences and biological sciences from Colorado State University in Fort Collins. He received his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora. Cho completed general psychiatry residency training as well as child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is board certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and his clinical interests are in child and adolescent psychiatry and psychotic disorders
