Elizabeth Junkin, MD — Obstetrics Fellow

Dr. Elizabeth Junkin is an obstetrics fellow at the College of Community Health Sciences. The Obstetrics Fellowship, one of the first of its kind in the U.S. and is designed to address the need for obstetric care in rural areas. Junkin also cares for patients at University Medical Center, which the College operates. She received a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from The University of Alabama. She earned her medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed her residency training at The University of Alabama Tuscaloosa Family Medicine Residency Program, which the College operates.
