Dr. Zagros Motamed is a resident at The University of Alabama Tuscaloosa Family Medicine Residency Program, which is operated by the College of Community Health Sciences.
Motamed, who is from Richmond Hill, Ontario, received a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from York University in Toronto, Ontario. Motamed received a medical degree from the American University of Antigua in Antigua, West Indies, and has a special interest in sports medicine.
After residency, Motamed plans to pursue a sports medicine fellowship. After that, he plans to practice family medicine and sports medicine and become a team physician for a baseball team.
