Dr. Eliana Costantino Burgazzi is assistant professor in the Department of Family, Internal, and Rural Medicine. She also cares for patients at University Medical Center, which the College operates. A native of Caracas, Venezuela, Burgazzi received her medical degree from Central University of Venezuela School of Medicine in Caracas. She completed a family medicine residency at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley at Knapp Family Medicine Residency Program in Weslaco, Texas. She completed an Obstetrics Fellowship at CCHS. Burgazzi has certifications in Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics, Pediatric Advance Life Support and Advance Cardiovascular Life Support.
