Rachel Butler-Sarvaunt, MD, is a resident with The University of Alabama Tuscaloosa Family Medicine Residency Program.
Butler-Sarvaunt, who is from Eva, Ala., received her bachelor’s degree in biology and her master’s degree in biomedical and health sciences from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She received her medical degree from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Auburn, Ala. She has special interests in obstetrics, rural medicine and women’s health.
After residency, Butler-Sarvaunt plans to pursue an obstetrics fellowship before practicing full-spectrum family medicine in a rural Alabama community.
