Morgan Benefield, MD
Assistant Professor
Dr. Morgan Benefield is assistant professor in the Department of Family,
Internal, and Rural Medicine. She also cares for patients at University Medical
Center’s Dr. Bill deShazo Sports Medicine Center. UMC is operated by CCHS.
Benefield received her medical degree, with honors, from the University of
Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine. She completed her
residency, serving as chief resident, at the UA Tuscaloosa Family Medicine
Residency Program, which is operated by CCHS. She also completed a sports
medicine fellowship at the College.
