Marwan Mahmoud, MD

Dr. Marwan Mahmoud is a resident with The University of Alabama Tuscaloosa Family Medicine Residency Program, which is operated by the College of Community Health Sciences.
Mahmoud, who is from Cumming, Ga., received a bachelor’s degree in exercise and sports science from the University of Georgia in Athens, and a medical degree from the Edward Via University – Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg, S.C. Mahmoud has a special interest in rural medicine and sports medicine.
After residency, Mahmoud plans to pursue a sports medicine fellowship.
