Savannah Giovane
Assistant Professor
Dr. Savannah Giovane is an assistant professor in the Department of Family, Internal, and Rural Medicine at the College of Community Health Sciences. She also cares for patients as a family medicine obstetrics physician at University Medical Center, which the College operates. Giovane received her bachelor’s degree in biology from The University of Alabama. She completed medical school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Heersink School of Medicine. Giovane completed her residency training at the Montgomery Family Medicine Residency Program in Montgomery, Ala., where she received additional training in hospital care and obstetrics and gynecology. Her interests include women’s health, hospital medicine and preventive care.
