Dr. Sandip Tiwari is a transformative pharmaceutical executive with over 25 years of global experience in oral drug product development, CMC strategy, and regulatory affairs. Renowned for his leadership in advancing innovative drug delivery technologies and guiding multidisciplinary teams from early-stage research through commercial launch, Dr. Tiwari has delivered multimillion-dollar business impact across leading organizations. He is recognized for his expertise in complex modified release technologies, AI/ML-driven pharmaceutical development, novel enabling technologies, and material & dissolution science.
His leadership roles include Head of Technical Services at BASF Pharma Solutions, Technical Director at Colorcon, Fellow at Teva Pharmaceuticals, and Senior Scientist and Head of Novel Drug Delivery Systems at Zydus Cadila. He is an authority in modified release and dissolution science, serving as chief editor and author for key publications in the field. Dr. Tiwari has authored over 100 research papers, abstracts, book chapters, and patents, and is a sought-after global speaker, having delivered invited lectures and keynotes at major scientific conferences and institutions worldwide.
As an Adjunct Professor at the University of Alabama, Dr. Tiwari is deeply committed to advancing translational science and fostering academic-industry collaboration.
