Ansley Baccus, MD — Assistant Professor

Dr. Ansley Baccus is assistant professor with Department of Family, Internal, and Rural Medicine. She also cares for patients as a family medicine physician at University Medical Center, which the College operates. Baccus received a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, graduating magna cum laude. She received her medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed her residency at The University of Alabama Tuscaloosa Family Medicine Residency Program, which is operated by the College. Baccus has special interests in adolescent and preventive medicine and in improving medical education in the community.
