Dr. Andy Thomas is a clinical assistant professor with the Department of Family, Internal, and Rural Medicine at the College of Community Health Sciences. He also cares for patients as a family medicine physician at University Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, which is operated by the College. Thomas earned his medical degree from the UAB Heersink School of Medicine in Birmingham, Ala., and completed his residency at The University of Alabama Tuscaloosa Family Medicine Residency Program, which CCHS operates.
