Stephanie Smith, MD
Clinical Assistant Professor
Dr. Stephanie Smith is a clinical assistant professor with the departments of Family, Internal, and Rural Medicine and Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at the College of Community Health Sciences. She cares for patients at University Medical Center clinics in Tuscaloosa and Demopolis, Ala., and also teaches the College’s medical students, resident physicians and fellows. CCHS operates UMC. Smith earned her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwanee, Ga. She completed her residency at the East Tennessee State University Quillen College of Medicine – Johnson City Family Medicine Residency Program. Smith completed a behavioral health fellowship at CCHS.
