Lilanta Joy Bradley

Dr. Lilanta Bradley, assistant professor of community medicine and population health at the College of Community Health Sciences, was elected to a second term as a Governing Councilor for the Public Health Education and Health Promotion section of the American Public Health Association. In addition, Bradley was selected to participate as a scholar in the 2019-2020 Health Disparities Research Education Award Certificate Program, an interdisciplinary professional development program that seeks to develop independent researchers in health disparities research, provides instruction in research methodology and design and training in innovative approaches to reduce health disparities, and teaches scientific writing and grant preparation skills to produce a grant submission to an external agency. The program is sponsored by Morehouse School of Medicine, Tuskegee University, The University of Alabama, Creighton University, University of South Alabama and the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
