About

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine provides specialized care for a full range of psychiatric and mental disorders as its faculty also prepare the next generation of mental health care professionals. Our faculty are skilled providers in psychiatry, psychology and social work and care for adults, adolescents and children. They also educate and train medical students, resident physicians and fellows in a variety of mental health specialties, teaching them to provide their patients with a biopsychosocial understanding of their conditions. In addition, our faculty advocate for state, regional and national policies around the delivery of mental care.
