Dr. Victoria Smith is a resident with The University of Alabama Tuscaloosa Family Medicine Residency, which is operated by the College of Community Health Sciences.
Smith, who is from DeRidder, La., received her undergraduate degree with a concentration in scientific inquiry from Louisiana Scholars’ College at Northwestern State University of Louisiana in Natchitoches. She received her medical degree from American University of the Caribbean in Sint Maarten, Netherlands Antilles. She has special interests in adolescent medicine and disaster medicine.
After residency, Smith plans to pursue an emergency medicine fellowship before practicing emergency medicine.
