Joseph Mestayer, MD

Dr. Joseph Mestayer is a resident with The University of Alabama Tuscaloosa Family Medicine Residency Program, which is operated by the College of Community Health Sciences.
Mestayer, who is from Pascagoula, Miss., received his undergraduate degree in biology from UA and his master’s degree in biomedical sciences from the University of Mississippi in Jackson. He received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi. He has special interests in primary care and rural medicine.
After residency, Mestayer plans to pursue a sports medicine fellowship before practicing outpatient family medicine.
