Dr. Austin Brooks is a resident with The University of Alabama Tuscaloosa Family Medicine Residency Program, which is operated by the College of Community Health Sciences.
Brooks, who is from Heflin, Ala., received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in human environmental science from The University of Alabama. He received his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham (now the UAB Heersink School of Medicine). He has special interests in endoscopy, procedures, rural medicine and ultrasound.
After residency, Brooks plans to practice inpatient and outpatient family medicine in a rural Alabama community.
