Diane Brown, ARDMS, is an ultrasound technologist for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Brown is responsible for all routine and complex OB/GYN ultrasound studies at University Medical Center, which the College operates, and assists physicians with procedures as needed. Her responsibilities also include researching patient histories, documenting finished reports and images into UMC’s electronic medical recor, and sanitizing and caring for equipment and instruments.
Brown completed three years in a Psychology degree program at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. She graduated as a radiology technician from a two-year, hospital-based radiology program at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Ill., and completed a one-year program in ultrasonography at the University of California San Diego. She is registered in OB/GYN, abdominal and adult echocardiography.
