Dr. Alesha Amerson is a resident with The University of Alabama Tuscaloosa Family Medicine Residency Program, which is operated by the College of Community Health Sciences.
Amerson, who is from Phenix City, Ala., received a bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a medical degree from the UAB Heersink School of Medicine in Birmingham, Ala. Amerson has a special interest in academic medicine.
After residency, Amerson plans to practice inpatient and outpatient family medicine.
