Dr. Katie Carr is a resident with The University of Alabama Tuscaloosa Family Medicine Residency Program, which is operated by the College of Community Health Sciences.
Carr, who is from North Myrtle Beach, S.C., received a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, and a medical degree from the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in St. Kitts, West Indies. Carr has a special interest in emergency medicine, hospital medicine and pediatrics.
After residency, Carr plans to practice inpatient and outpatient family medicine.
