Dr. Justine Vella is a resident with The University of Alabama Tuscaloosa Family Medicine Residency Program, which is operated by the College of Community Health Sciences.
Vella, who is from Toronto, Ontario, received a bachelor’s degree in fine arts and cultural studies and communications from York University in Toronto, Ontario, and a master’s degree in business administration with a specialization in health administration from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minn. She received a medical degree from the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in St. Kitts, West Indies. Vella has a special interest in dermatology, obstetrics, psychiatry and sports medicine.
After residency, Vella plans to pursue a fellowship.
