Resources for Researchers

Our faculty and staff can assist individuals affiliated with CCHS in the following areas: IRB applications, research methods and design, statistical analysis, data collection and management, manuscript development, research poster production and grant applications.

We will help identify your research aims and objectives in addition to team members with which to collaborate. Please contact Martha Crowther, PhD, MPH, at mrcrowther@ua.edu or 205-348-7802, who can help you facilitate connections between faculty who might not otherwise have the opportunity to collaborate.

If a funding agency has contacted you, or you have identified a call/application you want to submit a proposal to, please contact Susan Page at (205) 348-5570 or spage@cchs.ua.edu for help.

Find Funding Opportunities and Collaborators

The University of Alabama subscribes to Pivot, which is an easy to use search tool for funding opportunities and research collaborators. All faculty, staff and students can create an account and receive weekly alert emails with funding opportunities.

Survey Tools

Qualtrics is an online survey software solution. Qualtrics can track participation, send invitations and reminders, display survey results graphically and statistically in real time, and export raw data in a variety of formats. Contact Barbara Wright at 205-348-0025 or bwright@.ua.edu to setup a Qualtrics account.
