The University of Alabama subscribes to Pivot, which is an easy to use search tool for funding opportunities and research collaborators. All faculty, staff and students can create an account and receive weekly alert emails with funding opportunities.
Qualtrics is an online survey software solution. Qualtrics can track participation, send invitations and reminders, display survey results graphically and statistically in real time, and export raw data in a variety of formats. CCHS awards grants of up to $2,500 to fund research projects by faculty. Priority is given to new faculty and those not previously funded under this mechanism.
The Research Grants Committee accepts proposals for research grants each year for full-time tenured, tenured track, and clinical UA faculty. Applicants may request funding up to $6,000.
UAB Heersink School of Medicine students can request up to $3,000 in their third and fourth years combined (not per year).
