Students pursuing rural medicine, dentistry and other health professions were recently honored at a College of Community Health Sciences convocation. The students are part of the College’s Rural Medical Scholars, Rural Dental Scholars and Rural Community Health Scholars programs. Educating and training the next generation of rural health care providers is one way CCHS is meeting its mission of improving health in communities.
