Feasibility Review
Submit a project proposal to CCHS Research and Health Policy to confirm the operational feasibility of the study at the UA MRI Facility.
Director Endorsement
Secure a formal letter of support for the proposed study from Dr. James Geyer, the Director of Imaging.
Institutional Approval
Submit the required research documentation to the Institutional Review Board (IRB) for ethical clearance and approval.
Workflow Design
Develop a comprehensive plan for space utilization, project workflows, and specific MRI scanning protocols.
Safety Certification
Complete mandatory safety training for all project personnel authorized to use the MRI facility.
Protocol Development
Establish and test project protocols at no cost prior to the commencement of pilot runs.
Pilot Implementation
Obtain approval for the scan hours required to conduct pilot runs for grant submissions or funded projects.
