Pickens County Partnership

The University of Alabama-Pickens County Partnership seeks to strengthen the rural and medically underserved county’s healthcare system to improve the health of its citizens, attract jobs, retain families and create a sustainable model for health care. Through the partnership, Pickens County citizens, organizations and health care providers, and UA faculty, researchers and students, work together, learn from each other, prioritize needs and implement solutions to improve health in Pickens County.
